week one
We’ve been signing people up at the learning skills lab where I work (it’s basically a tutoring center) and you do not know how many times I explained the requirements for this “class”. I am basically a pro and could probably break it down to you right now if you asked. I got home to a whole stack of packages and letters which made me very happy! Two books—a learner’s guide to spanish and one that is a very late Hanukkah present for Gabe (there’s a story to this). Also, a box full of things from Fig Leaves! I’m very happy about that and I am still waiting for more packages to arrive. I am expecting a lot from myself this semester because a lot of what I’m planning on doing requires self-motivation such as learning two languages and developing an exercise routine that I will stick with! Have I been known to really stick with anything? Anyway, we’ll see how that goes. I hope everyone’s week was groovy. TTYL.
